Bring your spare change to vote on your favorite custom panel for our new playground equipment. Voting will take place April 3-16 daily during lunch in the cafeteria. Drop your coins into the bucket marked with your favorite panel and the panel earning the most money will be declared the winner. All proceeds will go towards the purchase and installation of our new playground equipment. EVERY PENNY COUNTS!
We’re nearing the end of our two-year fundraising campaign to purchase new playground equipment for our school. WE ARE SO VERY CLOSE and EVERY PENNY COUNTS!! You can help boost this effort by participating in our Playground Penny War going on now between April 3-16, attending our upcoming Margarita’s Spirit Night on April 7 (5-9pm), and purchasing a shaved ice during Field Day on April 26-28. All proceeds from these events will go towards the purchase and installation of this new play system. Personal donations are also welcome and appreciated. Thank you for your support!!
To celebrate all of their hard work in preparation for the upcoming Georgia Milestones Assessment, we’ll be CHILLING OUT with our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grader students during an extended recess schedule.
The Flavor Island Shaved Ice Truck will be on-site selling ice cones for $2.00 each. Please bring EXACT CHANGE and CASH ONLY the morning of the event. We will not be able to accept payment through the front office. 30% of sales will go towards new playground equipment.

Our race will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Onsite registration begins at 6:30 am and the 5k race starts at 7:30 am. All pre-registered 5k participants are guaranteed a dri-fit T-shirt!
We will have a FREE sign making station and FREE supplies to “chalk the walk” at the finish line. Flavored Island Shaved Ice will be available for purchase.
This year, we’re also offering a >1 mile Fun Run… come cheer on our AES Running Club members at 7:15 am.

2nd Annual AES Skedaddle 5k & Fun Run

ATTENTION ALL RUNNERS & WALKERS: Mark your calendar for our 2nd annual AES Skedaddle 5k on March 25th. This year we’re excited offer a Fun Run which is a <1 mile course proceeding the 5k race. Pre-registration fees are $20.00 (5k) and $10.00 (Fun Run). Fun Run registration is FREE to all AES running club members. The pre-registration deadline is March 15th. T-shirts will be provided to all pre-registered 5k race participants. Fun Run registration does not include a t-shirt or medal but each registered participant will receive a small token for completing the course. AES running club members are encourage to wear their member shirts.
